Zoe Saldana (born June 19 1978) was born to Asalia Saldana and Aridio Saldana in Passaic New Jersey. Her parents, Aridio and Asalia are both Puerto Ricans. Her parents raised her at home in Queens, New York. In 2010, she relocated with her family to the Dominican Republic where they spent the next 7 years.
