Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. The actress grew up with dreams of great heights. Her greatest roles are the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the thriller Precious. Her early years were spent at Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. The mother of her children was fond of watching movies and encouraged a love of film in her young daughter as well. Paula was a fan of school co-curriculars and drama was her favorite. Her favorite part was acting in stage plays together with her fellow students. She performed in numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as a profession. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. She won an assignment for PBS to create documentaries over a period of three months. After she had completed the three-month assignment successfully, her first job was to work in production of television documentaries. Then she began producing documentaries. Even though she loved working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she's appeared in numerous films and television shows.
